First SimpleDZ Linux Preview (v0.1.0-alpha.2-preview) is Now Live!

We are excited to announce the very first test release of SimpleDZ for Linux (v0.1.0-alpha.2-preview)! This is a massive milestone for the project — automated server lifecycle management, anonymous Steam workshop downloads, scheduled tasks, and deep engine IPC telemetry are now accessible directly on Linux environments.

⚠️ A Candid Note on This Preview Build

This is an early Developer Alpha release. To be completely transparent: you will encounter bugs, edge cases, and quirks, depending on your distribution, display server (X11 vs Wayland), window manager, and local desktop packages. Please don't get discouraged! We are actively hunting down every reported glitch and pushing iterative fixes around the clock. Every issue you report helps us harden the software and move closer to a bulletproof beta release.

🚀 Quick Install

If your tester account has been activated by an administrator, you can install the preview with a single terminal command:

curl -fsSL https://ksdev.ovh/dl/install.sh | bash

The script verifies cryptographic SHA-256 signatures, cleanly sets up the application directory (~/.local/share/simpledz/), and provisions both a desktop menu launcher and the simpledz CLI command.
