If you are not sure if our server manager is for you or want to learn more about the service, we invite you to read the following informations:
1. Requirements
To fully enjoy the use of our manager, it is necessary to have:
- A computer with full access, such as your home pc or dedicated server. It is not possible to use the manager on any kind of hosting or VPS because in order to work it is necessary to install software that will supervise the operation of the active server(s) and connect to our services.
- An active steam account on which a copy of DayZ Standalone was purchased. The developers of the game require its purchase to run server services. In addition, if you want to use our software to automatically update mods, you must have a copy of the game that you are not actively using. Otherwise, any connection to the servers to check the availability of new modifications will result in your being kicked out of the game.
- Our service requires also a steam account for login purposes, billing and to store a copy of your settings. None of your data is processed in any other way!
- To run the server, strong nerves and a lot of determination are also welcome ;)
2. Capabilities
Our software currently has the following features:
- easy server setup and deployment. U can start as many servers as much your machine can handle.
- easy mod management. Our manager provide built-in mod browser for easy mod checking/adding/deleting.
- cloud backup to store all your server setups. If you change machine u dont need to move any files, just need to login to restore server configs and mod lists.
- more to come as we have many more features in mind like live map, messenging, scheduling, logs and many more which will come later during development.
